Podcaster <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-rogan">Joe Rogan</a> weighed in on an insane rant from Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) boss Kim Williams, who claimed Rogan preys on “people’s vulnerabilities.”
“LOL WUT,” the host of “The Joe Rogan Podcast” wrote on Wednesday on <a href="https://x.com/joerogan/status/1861806984967688372">X</a> as he reacted to the clip of Williams’ tirade against him and the power he said he has in America following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.
In <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14130579/ABC-Kim-Williams-Joe-Rogan-podcast-attack.html">the clip</a>, a reporter asked Williams, “In the wake of the U.S. election, the Democrats have said that one of Kamala Harris’ mistakes was that she didn’t appear on his program. So I was just wondering if you had any observations what’s behind the Joe Rogan effect?”
&#8220;I think people like Mr. Rogan prey on people&#8217;s vulnerabilities,” Williams told the National Press Club. &#8220;They prey on fear. They prey on anxiety. They prey on all of the elements that contribute to uncertainty in society, and they entrepreneur fantasy outcomes and conspiracy outcomes as being a normal part of social narrative.”
&#8220;I personally find it deeply repulsive, and to think that someone has such remarkable power in the United States is something that I look at in disbelief,” he added. “I&#8217;m also absolutely in dismay that this can be a source of public entertainment when it&#8217;s really treating the public as plunder for purposes that are really quite malevolent.”

Ahead of the election, then-former President <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBMoPUAeLnY">Donald Trump</a> sat down with Rogan and had a wide-ranging conversation for three hours in a podcast that has since garnered more than 50 million views.

During “The Joe Rogan Experience” <a href="https://youtu.be/t5_EdPRLHuE">podcast</a>, the host said that it was Harris’ team who first reached out to him about appearing on his show after her campaign learned that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Trump</a> was coming in for an interview.
“She [Harris] had an opportunity to come here when she was in Texas and I literally gave them an open invitation,” Rogan said, hitting back at claims he was somehow being a “diva” about their interview.
“I said, ‘anytime, if she’s done at ten o’clock we’ll come back here at ten o’clock,’” he added. “I’ll do it at nine in the morning, I’ll do it at ten p.m. I’ll do it at midnight if she’s up and she wants to drink a Red Bull, f***ing party on.&#8221;
“So their camp reached out to me, so I said, ‘great. I would love to talk to her,’” Rogan continued. “But it was very difficult to tie it down. They wanted to travel and see, the thing is, if I go somewhere, then there’s going to be other people in the room, and they want to control a lot of things, I’m sure, according to the Bret Baier interview on Fox. That’s a distraction.”
The podcast host said that his goal was to simply sit down across the table from Harris and have a conversation, to get to know the person who wants to become the President of the United States as a human being — as he did with Trump.

The cohosts discussed the topic at length on Tuesday — three weeks to the day since Trump won a decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris — because they appear convinced that Trump will use his second term in office to punish his political enemies in the same way that Biden&#8217;s Justice Department came after him.

Cohost Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the conversation, asking whether Biden should pardon his son — and got a chorus of positive responses from the audience before the others at the table even weighed in.
&#8220;Does that make him an even bigger target for you-know-who coming in?&#8221; Goldberg asked, still unwilling to say Trump&#8217;s name aloud. &#8220;It&#8217;s a — interesting question, which I pose to you all.&#8221;
&#8220;So, personally, I think I would pardon my child,&#8221; Alyssa Farah Griffin replied. &#8220;I don&#8217;t even have kids, I&#8217;d bury a body for my child, so I get it as a personal decision. I worry a little bit about the implications for the country, and I mean this not because hunter Biden affects the country but because there&#8217;s such a distrust in the powerful, the politically connected, and there&#8217;s this idea that there&#8217;s a different system of justice.&#8221;

Griffin concluded by noting that the indictments against Trump had gone away &#8220;because he&#8217;s in power&#8221; and argued that was the same.
Sunny Hostin also was in favor of a pardon for the younger Biden, claiming that he was only prosecuted because his name was Biden and ignoring the fact that the cases she had whole-heartedly supported against President-elect Trump, by most accounts, were only brought because his name was Donald Trump.

Cohost Sara Haines favored a pardon as well, suggesting that Biden had earned the right to pardon his son because he&#8217;d been such a good president. Haines also made a case for Biden to pardon his dog, Commander, who bit multiple Secret Service agents in some two dozen incidents. The dog was never formally charged.

Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217; campaign chair Jen O&#8217;Malley Dillon blew off criticisms during a recent appearance on the liberal podcast &#8220;Pod Save America,&#8221; claiming that Harris&#8217; obvious avoidance of tough interviews was just perception driven by &#8220;the narrative.&#8221;
Dillon joined several of the campaign&#8217;s top officials — David Plouffe, Quentin Fulks, and Stephanie Cutter — for their first interview since Harris lost her 2024 White House bid to President-elect Donald Trump, and their post-mortem focused on the failures of the American people to see through media narratives rather than any possible faults in their own candidate or campaign.

&#8220;I do think a narrative, 107 days … two weeks talking about how she didn&#8217;t do interviews, which you know she was doing plenty, but we were doing in our own way, we had to be the nominee, we had to find a running mate, and do a roll-out, I mean there was all these things that you kind of want to factor in,&#8221; Dillon complained.

She went on to argue that Trump — who, along with Vice President-elect JD Vance, was doing dozens of rallies and interviews — was not being held to the same standard as Harris, which she said further complicated matters.
&#8220;But real people heard, in some way, that we were not going to have interviews, which was both not true and also so counter to any kind of standard that was put on Trump, that I think that was a problem,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Being up against a narrative that we weren&#8217;t doing anything, or we were afraid to have interviews is completely bulls***, and also like took hold a little bit, and we just, it gave us another thing we had to fight back for that Trump never had to worry about.&#8221;
Dillon also complained that the questions Harris often got when she did make appearances were frequently &#8220;processy,&#8221; meaning that they did not do much to help voters get a better view of Harris or her policies.

Democrat strategist Theryn Bond is not on board with a potential third presidential run for Vice President Kamala Harris, who recently lost the 2024 election to President-elect Donald Trump and failed to launch her 2020 bid past the end of 2019.
Bond joined the hosts of Newsmax&#8217;s &#8220;National Report&#8221; on Tuesday when the conversation turned to Harris&#8217; political future — which, according to a report from POLITICO, could include either a third run for the White House or a run for governor in her home state of California.

When asked whether she thought Harris was making the right decision when she promised donors and allies that she intended to stay &#8220;in the fight,&#8221; Bond made it clear that she didn&#8217;t believe that fight should extend to another presidential campaign.
&#8220;Not to run for president again in 2028. Please don’t,&#8221; she said.
&#8220;I can’t really speak for governor of California. Californians seem to support her significantly,&#8221; Bond continued. &#8220;We haven’t yet been able to measure what that support looks like after this current run she just had. That may be the only thing that she, I guess, may make sense for her to consider, but another shot at the presidency, I hope she doesn’t, and if she is relying on those same advisers that advised her this cycle, that’s not who I would listen to.&#8221;

Bond is not the only one who&#8217;s not thrilled about a possible third Harris campaign. Democrat megadonor John Morgan also cautioned her against another attempt, criticizing her campaign for blowing through more than $1 billion and still coming up empty in 2024.
Morgan told NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that Harris&#8217; mismanagement of her campaign and money &#8220;disqualified her forever,&#8221; adding that she &#8220;cannot be trusted with the money.&#8221;
&#8220;If you can’t run a campaign, you can’t run America,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The same thing is going to follow Harris for the rest of her career. She cannot be trusted with the money, and the donors are going to be, like, ‘Where is this money?’&#8221;

Top aides of the failed Kamala Harris presidential campaign appeared this week on &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-adviser-public-polls-showed-leads-over-trump-that-we-never-saw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pod Save America</a>,&#8221; where they discussed what went wrong, including why Harris never appeared on the most popular podcast in the world, &#8220;The Joe Rogan Experience,&#8221; after an invite.
Senior campaign adviser David Plouffe shockingly suggested host Joe Rogan did not have pure intentions and was using the invite as &#8220;leverage&#8221; so now-President-elect Donald Trump would appear in the Austin-based studio.
&#8220;So what’s clear is we offered to do it in Austin, people should know that,&#8221; Plouffe said. &#8220;It didn’t work out. Maybe they leveraged that to get Trump in studio, I don’t know.&#8221;
Stephanie Cutter, another senior Harris campaign adviser, claimed the team just couldn&#8217;t make a date work for the extremely popular podcast.
&#8220;We had discussions with Joe Rogan’s team, they were great, they wanted us to come on, we wanted to come on, we tried to get a date to make it work and, ultimately, we just weren’t able to find a date. We did go to Houston and she gave a great speech at an amazing event,&#8221; Cutter said, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/kamala-harris-campaign-aides-suggest-trumps-sit-down-joe-rogan-blame-her-not-joining-podcast?intcmp=tw_fnc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Fox News.

&#8220;We were hoping to fit it in around that but ultimately weren’t able to do it,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;As it turns out, that was the day that Trump was taping his Joe Rogan [appearance], which they had never confirmed to us. We just kind of figured that out in the lead-up to it. You know, she was ready, willing to go on Joe Rogan.&#8221;
Despite evidence that shows Trump&#8217;s Rogan appearance helped him with younger males, Cutter insisted that keeping Harris off the podcast didn&#8217;t make a difference in the election. &#8220;It didn’t ultimately impact the outcome one way or another, but she (Harris) was willing to do whatever it takes,&#8221; Cutter said.
However, Jennifer Palmieri, senior adviser to second gentleman Doug Emhoff, gave another reason for skipping the podcast. She <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/harris-backed-out-joe-rogan-podcast-over-backlash-progressive-staff-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> The Financial Times that the appearance didn&#8217;t work out &#8220;because of concerns at how the interview would be perceived within the Democratic Party.&#8221;
&#8220;There was a backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it, and how there would be a backlash,&#8221; she said.
On social media platform X, politicos were not convinced by the explanations. Some pointed out that Harris decided to make time for the sketch comedy show &#8220;Saturday Night Live,&#8221; which has much lower ratings than &#8220;The Joe Rogan Experience.&#8221;

Incoming White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt torpedoed The Washington Post over a media request the outlet sent to her, sharing screenshots of blatant attempts to tie President-elect Donald Trump to an act of racism.
Leavitt posted a photo of the email from The Washington Post on her X account, tearing into the outlet for attempting to use such a situation to foment racial division and then blame Trump for it, despite even admitting that Trump was not remotely connected to the event in question.

The email, sent by a reporter named Emmanuel Felton, was about a racially charged incident that took place in Lawnside, New Jersey, within days of the 2024 presidential election. A local resident had reported seeing spray-painted slurs using the &#8220;n-word,&#8221; and Felton wanted Trump&#8217;s team to respond to the following section of the report:
<blockquote>What happened in Lawnside was part of a wave of racial incidents that occurred in the days following Trump&#8217;s reelection. Around the time that Hines&#8217; fence was sprayed, black people across the country were receiving text messages that said they&#8217;d been &#8220;selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.&#8221; And at the same time that Lawnside residents came together to discuss the graffiti on Hines&#8217; fence, a group of self-identified Neo-Nazis marched and shouted the same slur in Columbus, Ohio.</blockquote>
In the very next sentence, Felton gave away the game, however (emphasis added): &#8220;While none of these events can be traced directly back to Trump, experts say that his rhetoric has been tied to an increase in hate crimes across the nation.&#8221;

Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kamala Harris</a> reportedly shelled out major donations — totaling half a million dollars — to a non-profit connected to MSNBC’s Al Sharpton prior to her interview with him.
The Washington Free Beacon’s Chuck Ross reported on Tuesday that the Harris campaign shelled out two six-figure donations — $250,000 on September 5 and another $250,000 on October 1 — to Sharpton’s National Action Network. Just two days after the second donation went through, Sharpton aired a video of Harris wishing him a happy birthday — and on October 20, MSNBC aired a very friendly interview of Harris conducted by Sharpton.

According to Ross’ reporting, neither Harris nor Sharpton told MSNBC that the donations had been made.
Harris has faced scrutiny over finances since the campaign ended with her team over $20 million in debt even after raising well over $1 billion in just three months. Payments to celebrities for concerts and appearances at rallies have been questioned, including over $1 million paid to former talk show host Oprah Winfrey’s production team and a six-figure rebuild of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast set so that she could give the interview from Washington, D.C.

Other major expenditures included hundreds of thousands for private air travel, along with six-figure donations to minority groups with whom she was struggling to make headway.
According to the Free Beacon’s report:

The campaign gave donations to lesser-known groups like the Haitian Ladies Fund ($30,000) and International Free and Accepted Modern Masons ($150,000), a black freemasons organization, according to <a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/disbursements/?data_type=processed&amp;committee_id=C00703975&amp;two_year_transaction_period=2024&amp;min_date=01%2F01%2F2023&amp;max_date=12%2F31%2F2024&amp;disbursement_description=contribution&amp;disbursement_description=donation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">campaign finance disclosures</a>.  The Black Economic Alliance <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/11/01/black-business-leaders-make-a-final-push-for-harris-economic-plans-to-black-men-.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hosted</a> a video call for 5,000 attendees days before the election to urge black men to vote for Harris. Vote to Live Action Fund, which received $275,000 from the Harris campaign, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/harris-supporting-group-launches-4m-effort-mobilize-black-male-voters-rcna174414" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> a $4 million initiative in October to pressure black men to vote. Harris spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on an initiative to appeal to black church voters. Two of the organizations, Black Church PAC and the Institute of Church Administration and Management ($250,000), are linked to Frederick Haynes, <a href="https://freebeacon.com/elections/kamalas-criminal-justice-reform-comrade-accused-israel-and-america-of-apartheid-in-fiery-sermon-after-hamas-attack/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an anti-Israel pastor</a> who has worked with Harris for years on liberal causes.</blockquote>
Despite the lingering questions surrounding the Harris campaign’s spending habits, the VP has reportedly suggested that she would be open to running again in 2028 — either for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination or for governor of her home state of California.

Cohost Joy Behar addressed the issue during Tuesday&#8217;s broadcast of the midday talk show, where she argued that the end of the lawfare proved that &#8220;karma&#8221; against Trump was non-existent.
&#8220;After all that time and money, are we gonna get a rebate?&#8221; cohost Whoopi Goldberg asked of the now-wasted efforts to go after Trump. &#8220;We&#8217;re not getting any money back on that? Okay, well, what do you think of that?&#8221;
&#8220;It kind of shows that there&#8217;s no such thing as karma, doesn&#8217;t it?&#8221; Behar asked. &#8220;It&#8217;s like the Easter Bunny and affordable housing, it doesn&#8217;t exist. Behar did not elaborate on what she meant when she said someone would &#8220;get him out,&#8221; but instead went on to jab at the American people for not listening to Vice President Kamala Harris when she promised to help people afford houses.

Behar then argued that it would be up to Republicans in Congress — many of whom won their seats on their promise to help Trump implement his agenda — to &#8220;step up&#8221; and help Democrats stop Trump from implementing his agenda.
&#8220;I also think even though everybody&#8217;s been talking about how awful these picks are for the Cabinet, I feel like some of the Republicans in Congress are going to have to step up,&#8221; Behar continued. &#8220;Especially when you have somebody like Robert Kennedy Jr. — you sent me a thing the other day that said that Dengue Fever is on the rise, ok? I don&#8217;t think these Republicans want to get Dengue Fever. I don&#8217;t think that they want to get COVID. I don&#8217;t think that they want their kids to not get the polio shot.&#8221;
&#8220;Maybe they will step up because it will affect them,&#8221; she said.
Kennedy Jr., whose platform as an independent presidential candidate was Make America Healthy Again, has long said that he does not oppose vaccines on principle — he simply opposes vaccines that have not been through thorough and rigorous testing and does not believe that they should be mandated.

Former CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge revealed just a taste of what her former network had on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hunter-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hunter Biden</a> and his father, President Joe Biden, prior to the 2022 midterm elections — and she said that much of the information was either reported after an intentional delay or scrapped altogether.
Herridge, who left Fox News for CBS in 2019 and was subsequently let go by CBS in early 2024, had done some serious digging on the Bidens and specifically on the now-infamous laptop that Hunter left behind at a Delaware repair shop — but much of what she found she now says that CBS would not let her report.

Herridge explained in a brief video posted to X on Monday that her first goal had been to get as close to the primary source as humanly possible. &#8220;I wanted the cleanest copy of the laptop data, the same data that was provided to the FBI,&#8221; she said.
She went on to say that CBS had finally allowed a story verifying that the laptop was real and the data on it had not been manipulated — but that the network had not wanted to go ahead with the story prior to the 2022 midterm elections even though she had it ready to go.
&#8220;When we did the story, we did it after the midterms. I argued against that because it was ready before the midterms,&#8221; she said. &#8220;My training is that you should always do the story when it&#8217;s ready to go, you should not be dictated by the political cycle.&#8221;

Herridge then detailed a few other items of interest she&#8217;d found while studying the laptop data — and said that CBS had been uninterested in pursuing the leads she presented.
&#8220;For example, in the text messages, there&#8217;s unfortunately the use of the &#8216;N-word,&#8217; the liberal use of the &#8216;N-word.&#8217; And I thought this was worth another story but I was told that it&#8217;s not something that interested CBS News,&#8221; she said.
Herridge also noted that during a forensic review of the laptop, she&#8217;d found &#8220;half a dozen emails that were likely used by Joe Biden.&#8221;
&#8220;I thought that was a story,&#8221; she said, but CBS was unwilling to move on that without the contents of those emails — which could have taken years to get.
&#8220;There were a lot of reasons I was told not to do it, not to pursue it,&#8221; she concluded.

A CNN panel went sideways in a hurry when Republican commentator Scott Jennings pushed back on suggestions from a fellow panelist that X — now owned by entrepreneur Elon Musk — should be more strictly &#8220;regulated.&#8221;
The dustup began with complaints about the fact that Musk owns the social media platform and also has developed a close working relationship with President-elect Donald Trump, something that some on the panel found concerning.
&#8220;No one’s regulating the n-word, no one’s regulating the criticism, no one is regulating how people are treated,&#8221; former ESPN host  Cari Champion said, arguing in favor of increased regulation of the platform.
&#8220;How much government regulation of the First Amendment are you for?&#8221; Jennings shot back.
Champion pushed back, arguing, &#8220;Let me tell you something, if I came on here and I just started calling you all kinds of names, do you think the bosses would continue to let me do that?&#8221;

&#8220;But it doesn’t happen for me and I know that I wouldn’t be able to do that. There’s a level of professionalism in what we do here because we are journalists and we adhere to something, at least morally, and there is no moral compass on this thing called X,&#8221; Champion insisted.
The conversation got even testier when Jennings noted that he&#8217;d recently read a survey indicating that X was actually the most &#8220;ideologically balanced&#8221; social media platform.

&#8220;There was a former member of the Hungarian Parliament who was writing in POLITICO, who kind of talked about this effort by that government and how specific it was in terms of purchasing media specifically for propaganda,&#8221; guest host Audie Cornish prompted. &#8220;Do you hear why they’re making that connection?&#8221;
&#8220;I mean, is the concern that certain media outlets would become propaganda arms of political ideologies? Don’t we already have that in this country at a large scale?&#8221; Jennings asked. &#8220;Also I hear what you’re saying about X, I saw a survey this week, it’s now the most ideologically balanced user platform.&#8221;
&#8220;Scott, Scott, stop, it’s too early. I just sat down. I’ve only been here for two minutes, you cannot say that. Who’s the source?!&#8221; Champion protested.
&#8220;We’ve reported on this network,&#8221; Jennings fired back, referencing a report from CNN data whiz Harry Enten that showed regular X users were evenly split between Republicans and Democrats.
&#8220;It’s not accurate and you know it,&#8221; Champion insisted.
&#8220;Okay. I’ll let you make your statement, but my point is —&#8221; Jennings tried again.
&#8220;Let me frame it a different way. The site changed radically, right? So whether you think the voices are somehow more balanced now, that’s fine,&#8221; Cornish interrupted. &#8220;But no doubt Musk’s influence is profound and that you open it up and now you’re there with his opinion and he is now part of this administration.&#8221;

The self-described “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/queer-media-journalist-adds-weirdness-to-wicked-press-tour-in-viral-video">queer media</a>” journalist behind the interview with “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/movies">Wicked</a>” stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande that’s since gone viral is speaking out about the discussion and aftermath.
Out magazine&#8217;s Tracy E. Gilchrist spoke with <a href="https://variety.com/2024/film/news/holding-space-defying-gravity-wicked-interview-meaning-1236223273/">Variety</a> after a clip of the interview totally blew up online. In it, Gilchrist tells the movie’s two leads that fans are “really holding space” with the song “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">Defying Gravity</a>.” This comment caused Erivo, who plays the Wicked Witch of the West (Elphaba), to become emotional.
Viewers were confused over what Gilchrist meant by her &#8220;holding space&#8221; reference and questioned how Erivo could understand.

“I didn’t know that was happening,” the actress said with a quavering voice. “That’s really powerful. That’s what I wanted.”

Gilchrist said she was shocked by the attention. “It’s so overwhelming,” she said. “I was in meetings and my phone started blowing up. Later I was at lunch with a friend, and he kept asking me to explain what was happening – like, why is it funny? I don’t know! It just is.”
As of Tuesday morning, the clip has close to 77 million views on X.
The Variety interviewer specifically asked Gilchrist about the phrase “holding space” that’s gotten so much attention. Gilchrist said it means “being physically, emotionally and mentally present with someone or something.”
She added, “For me, it means being in the moment, not being distracted and feeling something on a cellular level. I think you can hold space with lyrics of a song – one you’ve heard hundreds of times – and it can suddenly take on new meaning when you’re a queer person. The Trump administration is targeting LGBTQ+ people via Project 2025.”
Gilchrist went on, “When Cynthia sings ‘I’m through accepting limits,’ there’s power in that. She plays a character who is othered. One who comes to her full power when she is exiled by a charlatan, by a cruel leader. There’s a lot of resonance there right now for anyone who is marginalized. For me, holding space is listening to those lyrics anew and finding solace or inspiration.”
“This was for us, for queer people who understand what I meant by holding space  — or really, for anybody who feels marginalized and can relate,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;So it’s for us. It’s not for them. They can hate all they want.”
